Oregon Raindrop Fund is the philanthropic commitment of PRETC, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization established in 1983.

In the first decades, PRETC transmitted educational programming in the greater Portland area using frequencies regulated by the Federal Communications Commission. Today, PRETC focuses on philanthropic initiatives through the Oregon Raindrop Fund that advance social justice and equity, and that work to bridge the digital divide.
